"You can dwell on it, or you can acknowledge it."

Episode Summary
Don’t Let Your Problems Lead You
We all have stuff.
Some of it’s physical, some emotional, and some situational. But no matter what form it takes, it always seems to live rent-free in our heads.
The real question is: what are you going to do about it?
You can dwell on it—or you can acknowledge it.
There’s a world of difference between those two choices. When you dwell, you give your problems permission to steer your life. When you acknowledge, you take the wheel back.
The Trap of Subjective Thinking
In my years coaching agents, I’ve seen how easily one setback can turn into a spiral. You lose a deal, a client ghosts you, or your plans fall apart—and suddenly, that single event defines your day, your week, or even your month.
But here’s the thing: it’s not the event that hurts you. It’s what happens after the event.
Let’s break it down.
When something happens, there are always two parts:
Part 1: This happened. (Objective)
Part 2: And it’s bad. (Subjective)
The first part is simply what occurred. It’s a fact.
The second part—the judgment—is optional.
You can’t always control what happens, but you can always control what you say next. And that small difference changes everything.
Two Types of People
When life throws challenges your way, people usually fall into one of two categories:
The first group says, “I got a flat tire, so I can’t lead generate today.”
The second says, “I got a flat tire, but I’m going to lead generate anyway.”
Both groups experience the same problem—but one acknowledges it, and the other dwells on it.
The difference isn’t in the situation; it’s in the story you tell yourself about the situation.
The Power of Acknowledgment
When you stop letting your subjective experience define your actions, you start gaining real control over your life and your business.
Acknowledgment doesn’t mean pretending everything’s fine—it means facing reality without letting it lead you by the nose. You accept what happened, you feel what you need to feel, and then you keep moving forward.
That’s how you grow.
That’s how you create consistency.
And that’s how you build your no broke months.
Final Thoughts
You can’t stop life from happening. There will be good days, bad days, and everything in between. But what defines you isn’t what happens—it’s how you respond to it.
Choose acknowledgment over dwelling. Take control of your mindset, your actions, and your results.
Until next time,
Be grateful. Make good choices. Help someone.
Have the best day of your life—and you’ll find a listing.
