Let me tell you something I say almost every day:
One to three hours daily. Five days a week. Seeking business opportunities. That’s how you create consistent, predictable income.
Want your CPI? Want no broke months? That’s the formula.
But most agents don’t do it. Not because they can’t—but because they won’t. Why?
Because we’ve got a weird relationship with time blocking. We resist structure—even when structure is the one thing that can set us free.
Why I Tricked You Into Learning This
In one of my recent classes, I taught a group of agents something powerful. But I didn’t call it “time blocking.”
If I had, no one would’ve shown up. And if they did? They would’ve tuned out.
That’s how deep the resistance runs. But if you’re not carving out focused, protected time to pursue your top priorities, you’re going to spin your wheels—forever.
Start With What Actually Matters
Here’s a lesson Warren Buffett once gave his pilot, Mike Flint. He told him:
Write down 25 goals you want to accomplish.
Circle the top 5.
Cross out the other 20—and don’t look at them again.
Laser focus. Ruthless prioritization.
Buffett then told him: Don’t touch goal #6 until you’ve hit 100% on one of the first five.
Your Top Priorities Deserve Real Time
That means your business goals—like lead generation, follow-up, skill development, and systems building—deserve dedicated time on your calendar.
Not “when you feel like it.” Not squeezed in around busywork. But scheduled. Protected. Immovable.
This isn’t about discipline. It’s about respect.
Respect for your goals. Respect for your future. And yes—respect for the miracle of your existence.
The Real Reason You’re Here
I don’t get this personal very often, but here it is:
To go through life without intentionally creating it… is disrespectful to the miracle you’ve been given.
If you’re here reading this, you’re already further along than most. Most people never define what they want out of life—let alone commit to five goals or block time to pursue them.
But if you want results? If you want your real estate business to create freedom, not stress? Then you’ve got to get serious about your time.
Final Thought
You don’t need a hundred strategies. You need one to three hours a day, five days a week. Do that consistently, and you’ll never have another broke month.
Be grateful. Make good choices. Help someone today.
